We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud. The successful candidate will have SQL Server database knowledge, a DevOps background, very strong problem-solving skills, and project management skills. Experience with other database management systems such as PostgreSQL is useful, but not required. Cloud Experience, particularly AWS, is useful, but not required.
Technical Skills:-
General understanding of relational database platform concepts.
General understanding and utilization of Microsoft Windows.
General understanding of SQL Server backups, recovery, and tuning.
General understanding of T-SQL language, preferably with some utilization.
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new technology quickly.
Comfortable working with minimal guidance.
Ability to adhere to requirements and standard operating procedures
Job Responsibilities:-
Excellent communication skills (Oral, written and listening ability).
Detailed understanding of relational database platform concepts.
Experience utilizing SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
Experience with T-SQL, and PowerShell scripting languages.
